Believe in Angels

Hello friends. Make sure to scroll down as I finally have a new camera and have I have done 3 posts today!

This is one of my favourite pages. I just love the Basic Grey Cappella papers. So calming with pinks, blues, yellows and greens. The embellishments so pretty. I just knew that I had to do this page with this picture of Parker. I have lots of premade titles from a K&Company when I went nuts at Michaels once and new I had to use one of the words. As soon as I saw believe I knew what I was going to do. It looks like Parker is seeing something (or someone) beyond what we saw that day. So that is the direction I took with this page. Angels. I am not a religious girl but strongly believe that my grandparents are watching over us. Parker never met them and I want him to know how much they would of loved him if they met him.

Used little frames from the dollarstore for the frames of my grandparents. Also wanted to use some of the pattern paper that came in my kit so I punched out the circles and then stiched them together with embroider floss. Also made the flower from ribbon.

Thanks for looking.

Dynamic

This is another page I worked on while my camera was broken. It was for a Page Maps challenge but I didn't get it photographed in time. Not my favourite page but this was a FANTASTIC day! We ended up raising $5200 for the Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes which I still can't believe! What a whirlwind! Page title is Dynamic because that is what we called the team - Parker's Dynamic team. My aunt (red t-shirt) and her friend (behind my right shoulder) are Co-operators agents and they sponsored the team with t-shirts. We got t-shirts with the team name and Parker got a t-shirt that said 'I'm Parker'. Too cute!

butterfly embellishment I did long time ago one evening - so happy got to use it!

Used some old cards for the buntings. The challenge also had a colour palette.

Got to use some of my Evalicious embellishments and some sassafras las stickers.

Thanks for looking!

Got a new camera!!!! So here you go!

Finally got a new camera! So here are some pictures and more to come. So this project was created a few nights after I made the 'So Exposed' page. I was going to clean my table and instead I decided to make a project with items ONLY on my table. I love this page! I love how easy it came together and I just love this picture of Parker and I.

I had done a father's day card for hubby and I had this picture left over on my table.

Some stiching, handmade layered embellishments inpired by Christine Middlecamp and voila!

Thanks for looking!

What have I been up to you ask?

hello *there* friends,

I know I have been m.i.a and I am sorry. I still haven't replaced my camera and time is just flying by. I now understand what my parents ment that time flies by so fast when you have kids. Every day is such a blur lately!

I have been busy in my studio (*sigh*) with a new project that I am soooo excited about! I won't spill all the beans yet but here's a hint -

I also do have two pages to share but you will have to wait. One of them is probably one of my favourite pages to date!

Well must go downstairs and play - Parker is asleep, hubby is gone for a bike ride, dishes are done, ...(well kinda)... so need to go play!

Bye for now,

Stacy
