OLW and Page Maps contest entry - Time to Reflect

I have finally been able to get my stuff together and do a page for One Little Word. This page also doubles up in the challenges for a Page Maps contest.

This one was a little more challenging for me - not the sketch or the colours but the journaling. I haven't done a page just about me yet and to do one about my 'not so perfect' quality of being negative was a little scary for me to put myself out there like this.

The papers are all Porcelain by Basic Grey's Kit of the Month pack. Such beautiful papers! Lots of vintage trim from my grandmother's lace box, some cool 'angel lace' I got at the second hand store, some vintage pictures off the internet (bird and frame) the birdcages are from Rhonna Farrer from House of 3 and of course some vintage paper. I love it when things just come together so well. I just love all the little details - like the little mirror. It was a dollarama metal frame and mirror that I glued together and the fern was again from my grandmother's craft box I inherited.
Thanks for looking, and wish me luck!

Thank you Camille and Bree! WOOOOOO HOOOO!

A week or so ago I got my package of vintage goodies from Crop Suey! Remember I won a vintage layout contest?? So excited as there are soooooo many sweet vintage elements! Can't wait to play with them! :) Thank you again girls!

My Journey

I had intended to make this page for One Little Word's word up: Journey but missed the deadline... But enjoyed making this one for 'my' album. Hope to make more pages about me so Parker will know who I am besides 'mom'... even though this page is really about him....
The envelope holds letters that I wrote every week when I was pregnant. Just a little something for Parker.

Papers are Pink Paislee from a great kit I got at Crop Suey.

Thanks for looking....

This page was inspired by an ad that Basic Grey had for their Wisteria and Lime Rickey lines. I wanted to make a mosaic and play with my spray inks. This is the result. Might have to do more like this. The pattern paper is Basic Grey Boxer. Also got to use my pazzle again for the title.... need to use it more! Have had this one done for a while now but my battery went dead and I couldn't find the battery charger (still in one of the many boxes that I delay unpacking as I am having too much fun in my scraproom)
.
Thanks for looking
