Sweet as Candy - Page Maps Contest Entry

I have finally finished this page and thanks to Becky Fleck's contest on her great website Page Maps Blog I finally got the push I needed to finish my Sweet as Candy page. The contest is to have a page with the theme 'sweet' and follow the sketch above. I was pretty excited as this page has been in the works since early December -and I am happy with the final result.

wanted a candy look so I made my own title 'candy' with chipboard covered in cardstock that I put strips of red cardstock on and then tried my new UTEE. I then sprinkled some clear micro beads for that candied look. All papers are from Martha Stewart. I also made my own candies from round wood pieces (you know the ones we all have in our craft drawer!) and did the same techniques as my letters. I did use some packaging to create the wrapper on one of the candies. Also used some red clear beads for some more candies.

I did alter the sketch a bit so I hope that is ok for the challenge. Wish me luck!
