Valentine's Day Swap

I have a few pictures to share with you today. Tara Anderson from the pink couch hosted a Valentine's Day swap and this is what I created. Just used alot of my 'love/xox/kiss' stuff that I have been hoarding. Also made some little embellishments for my swap partner Kristi!

Hope she likes it. I will post pictures of what I get soon!

Have a great day. I think I am going to go and hide under the covers until this day is over :(

Time for change

2011 is a year for change. Lots happening this year - lots of good and lots of scary. Will fill in you all later - just not ready to share yet.

Loved making this one as I was able to use lots of scraps. Made some white frames and just mounted different pattern scraps behind. Did some white spray paint and used a beautiful butterfly and voila. Layout sketch was inspired by a digital page by Celest Smith.

Thanks for checking in!

Be Ok

I just love this song by Ingrid Michaelson 'Be Ok'. So I did a page about it. Used some old papers that have been holding onto and some elements from my stash! Love how it turned out.

Here's the song... couldn't find a video about it so here's a photo compilation from youtube.

Smart Cookie - a Craft Yourself Happy first!

Well tonight I went to the Art Hive's Craft Yourself Happy and for the first time I was able to actually do something! Even with all the roller derby talk and even a friend testing her new red roller skates I was able to do most of this page at the Hive (finished stiching here at home). Good night! Even though I saw the biggest bull moose in the other lane and didn't notice him until I was right beside him!!!! Yikes!

This page is about my son and how goofy he is. He thought that he was super smart to have his marker tucked behind his ear! Gotta love little boys! Used alot of scraps and bits and pieces from past BG kits!

Bye for now!

Crop Suey Feb Challenge

Oooops, thought I scheduled this one but must of forgot. Make sure to head on over to Crop Suey for our newest challenge - use 9 items (multiples don't count) on your page or project. Here's my take on the challenge! Make sure to post your creation by the 20th for your chance to win some amazing Cosmo Cricket!

I used BG Max & Whisker's papers, elements and alphas. I did print on some transparencies so hybrid vintage text and used some of Martha Stewarts printable doilies that I also printed on transparencies.

This is my childhood dog - Smaller. He was hit by a car when he was 2 years old and instead of putting him down my parents decided to amputate his front leg. This NEVER stopped him! He ran as fast as the wind and adapted within hours of being home. He would even run with two legs as one of his back legs had arthritis in it from the car accident (and many other accidents).

Thanks for looking!
