Life is Sweet - OLW

Life with Parker is Sweet as Pie (most of the time anyways)! This mini album was made for another One Little Word entry. This week the word up is SWEET and right away I thought of Sweet as Pie and wanted to make a pie album. Because I wanted to cut down on the thickness and I didn't have any of the cute new cherry related products that are hot right now, I used digital kits (click here & here) and printed them on cardstock and matte photo paper and cut them out and adhered them to my scalloped album. For the top I used the digital paper and made it like a pocket with batting inside and stiched around it. For the 'crust' I wrapped paper around pipe cleaners and inked it. Lots of fun to make! The cherry on top was just a wooden bead that I painted and glued in a piece of leather that I got a whole bag at the second hand shop for $0.25!
